In Honor Of Officer Jessica Nagle-Wilson we are doing a Hero WOD for her. Jessicas Badge number was 233 so we designed a work out around that. Attached is a Link to a charity foundation started in her honor.
8 Rounds for time:
2 Muscle Ups
3 Clean & Jerks 155/105
3 Burpee Box Jumps 30″/26″
Post Times to comments:

Hazel Park PD has ties to Motor City Crossfit and I was asked to put a blurb on the web site for the anniversary of her death. The best way we know how to do that is by designing a work out for her. We have had great attendance at the gym so far today and hope it will continue.
On a side note congratulations Zack who got his first muscle up today.
Vinny
I would like to thank Vinny for setting up this workout and for everyone who participated in it. I can’t tell you how much it means to me and to the fellow officers who worked with her. Hazel Park Honor Guard which was started in her honor will be having a fundraiser Sept. 19th at the Ferndale F.O.P. I will post the information at the gym soon.
Congrats to Zack!
My thoughts are with Jessica’s family and the Hazel Park Police Deptartment today, in honoring Jessica’s memory.
Awesome job Zack! ………and you did that AFTER the wod, didn’t you?
I push myself even harder when it comes to Hero WODs (in this case a She-ro WOD) only because hits so close to home for me personally. I put myself in their shoes and think of what it must have been like in those last moments and that I can put myself through the long minutes of agony for their courage… my thoughts and prayers are w/ Jessica’s family and her brother and sisters in blue…
Even though I have got many muscle-ups but not any in succession… I not only failed to get 16 during this WOD but I failed to even get one… Ugh! So, the MU is what I had to scale…
the rest of it I did RX’d – weight and all.
My time: 24:18
Oh yeah… Congrats Zach! I’m sorry I wasn’t there to see it!
Well said Carey…sorry about the muscle-ups. 45 ring dips the day before may have had something to do with it.
Congrats Zack!
Obviously I’m not a police officer, but I do second (or third) what Carey said. When it comes to the Hero/Shero WOD we owe it thier memory, thier loved one’s and ourselves to push even harder than normal. My thoughts and prayers are with Officer Wilson, god bless.
Congrats Zack on your muscle up.
