Great job today Cara. Nice to know someone is motivated enough to get to the gym at 6AM on Monday mornings. By the way, guess which rep this deadlift picture was from? Obviously from the first rep in a set. See how the shoulders are way in front of the bar, causing the back to round? All subsequent reps are perfect, with no rounding, because your shoulders are right over the bar after first rep. Gravity puts the bar in the right place for you, which is farther away from the shins compared to the “typical standard.”
Vinny and JD, I know my camera/photography sucks. No need to comment on it. At least Vinny probably won’t delete my pictures this time, because I think I have the only pictures from the WODs today. We could (actually should) add the picture taken today of Carey’s 265 pound deadlift rack pull!! Damn that girl is strong – and she keeps getting stronger. Luckily those Rogue bars are guaranteed for life, cause she was bending that baby.
It was also nice to see my son Zach back in the gym today. He was afraid to come-in because he thought Vinny and Tom would hold him down and chop off that mop he has on his head.

Sherrie… nice job on the bar muscle-up! Go figure… I can get the ring MU but not the bar MU and you’re the oppitisite! 🙂 LOL!
This was a brutal WOD… used the 23″ box – my time: 23:43.
Jim… thanks for the compliment! I’m anxious to actually pull that weight from the ground and not the rack. Hopefully I won’t round anymore. Only time will tell. The DLs in the WOD felt great!

Thanks for the photo Jim – when I saw it, I knew exactly what rep this was! The visual helps a lot – as does your excellent coaching!
Carey & Sherrie: NICE WORK!!!
My time on this WOD was 27:05 – it was brutal! I did the last round of pull-ups as 60 jumping because I started tearing my (stupid) hands during the second set.

Great job all. DL’s are not my strong point and I was really struggling in the last round with them.

Carey- Holy crap you’re strong. I sometimes forget just how strong you are. Great job.
Cara- Nicely done. When I saw you were the only one in that morning I felt bad you had to do that one by yourself. Great job.
Sherry- Like Carey I can’t do bar MU’s and here you are getting it done. Way to go.
