OCCF Games results
Carey finished in first place for the women’s division. The pictures shows here in 2nd but a scoring SNAFU was corrected after the picture was taken.
In the Men’s division JD, John M and I all tied for 5th place out of 30 competitors and the rest of the crew wasn’t far behind. Nice job all who competed and it was good to see so many supporters from Motor City CrossFit at the games.

Awesome job Carey!!! And great job to all who competed. I know some of you were nervous and didn’t know what to expect. I also know some of you were uncomfortable with some of the events. (And Greg, sorry about your hands) But I would be willing to bet that all of you are glad you gave it a go!

What an impressive showing from MCCF today. JD was insane on the Wallball WOD; Vinny crushed the Clean/Pullup/KB WOD; Greg was super powerful on the Deadlift WOD; Carey (the smallest women in the competition) blew everybody away on the triplet; Becky and Tom B. were as intense as can be; Coast Guard John was really good at everything; JPM looked like a machine pounding through Karen; Scott pushed through an injured bicep; and MCCF had the biggest, loudest, and most enthusiastic cheering section at the Games. Fantastic job people!

Good job to all…wish I could have competed with you but I have next year to look forward too…hopefully no soccer games that day 🙂 Great job Carey…you are the female symbol of crossfit and you proved that today. Glad I was apart of EVERYONE’s victory today because you are all winners in your own way.
Congrats Carey, Vinny, J.D. and JPM. Great job you guys. You really are at the top of MCCF. I know you will represent us all very well at the Sectionals and Regionals. It was awesome to be a part of the games today and being able just to compete. A big thanks to all of the MCCF crew that came out to cheer us all on.

Thanks all! And congrats to all who competed! I definitely wouldn’t have been able to do it w/ out y’all @ MCCF… if all of you weren’t so darn good which in turn makes me work harder to keep pace w/ you then I wouldn’t be where I am now!
Thank you to all who came out and supported… It’s an awesome feeling to hear your name being called out during the WOD and the yelling to “pick it up” and keep going. We have a great family at MCCF… not to mention some strong, intense Mo-Fo’s! 🙂

Carey….great stuff…..but honestly given what I have seen, it comes as no surprise.

For me… Ahhh, I FINALLY conquered the kip! Yeah, it wasn’t pretty but I did it. Been a roadblock of mine for months.. and got 27 of them at OCCF games..
