Since we all are encouraged to try new sports from time to time, and I love the heck out of short track speedskating, you might want to check out the live webcast (going on all weekend pretty much) of the US Short Track championships. There’s going to be everything from Pony (9 & 10 year olds) up to 60-70, and even 70+ year old classes. And the fast guys are in there too, watch for the American Cup races, they’ll be great.
Plus, one of our athletes, Andrew Astalos, is one of the best (and has a good shot at winning) in the “Midget” age class (that’s 11 & 12), so watch for him.
