I just came across this article about Sgt Merlin German, whom apparently God thought still had some work left to do for the last three years, after being burned over 97% of his body, and initially given “no chance” of survival. His inspiration undoubtedly gave countless wounded soldiers the will to stay strong on the long road to recovery.
