First off, congrats to Jason for putting in a sub-5-minute Grace time. It was really awesome to witness, let me tell you. It also gives some others a new target to shoot for.
Lately, we’ve done a few workouts. Obviously, one of them was:
Grace
30 reps for time
135 lb clean and jerk
Another one was:
The Chief:
As many rounds as possible in 3 minutes. Rest 1 minute, and repeat for a total of 5 rounds
3 reps Power Clean – 135 lbs
6 reps Pushups
9 reps Squat
Sooner or later (aka “take note, this one’s coming down the pipe”) we’re going to do a rowing sprint workout. There was some info on this on the site a while back, and it looked real cool. Something like 10 times 10 second sprint on the rower. Either rest a set period inbetween, or complete rest, I’m not sure which. Just something different and “fun”.
