Let me be the first to say that each of you were awesome to watch! Those WOD’s, especially that second one, were tough! You should be proud in how you represented MCCF. I am honored to work out with you guys.
good lookin group of folks…….
that second WOD looks like a real F$%@er…im surprised that anyone even finished it
can you tell from my number of posts lately that i am suffering from Crossfit separation anxiety?
Today seems so boring compared to yesterday…because yesterday quite plainly…was AWESOME! I cannot believe how much fun I had! We definitely have a great group of people at MCCF and I’m really glad to be part of it!
Zuul You and the rest of the crew were very inspiring to watch. Coop I think only one person completed the chipper
What a great experience to witness. I was happy to be there to cheer on our team and was amazed at what they accomplished. Congratulations to everyone who competed, you represented MCCF very well!
I just saw JJ’s name for WOD #2…The Chipper. Quite fitting. That WOD would be difficult enough to do w/o a weight vest.
Fun day for sure! Thanks to everybody that came out!
My callouses have callouses, my soreness is sore and my collar bones are bruised, but i’m hungry for more! What a great expirience. All performed well, the friendships tightened, the workouts were beyond tough and the support was second to none. The smiling faces in the pic was at the end of the comp, all good. Good times fellow competitors! Taking a week off to heal, see all next. Ow… i gotta go…
Although I only judged, I was so impressed by how well our athletes performed at this year’s games. A hearty kudos to Dana, Nicole, Mark, Dr. C, Dr. J, and Tim; you guys totally rock. You should be so proud of yourselves as first time competitors. Those WOD’s were tough as hell.
Coop only one person did finish, Julie Foucher from Hyperfit with 3 minutes to spare.
This is from the crossfit games section of the main page. starting to outline how “sectional” will be held this year.
The CrossFit Games Open is a six-week competition that will begin Tuesday, March 15th at 17:00 PDT. This competition is the first step in qualifying for the 2011 CrossFit Games. Each week, one event will be announced each Tuesday, and everyone has until the following Sunday at 17:00 PDT to complete the event and record their scores.
There are two ways to compete:
1. Compete at a Registered Affiliate: Attend a workout session at a registered affiliate and submit your score for the affiliate to validate.
2. Compete Anywhere: Perform the workout as prescribed anywhere you can or want, and videotape it. Submit your score and upload your video.
We are developing a comprehensive website to handle the technical requirements of the worldwide Open. That website will go live the week before the competition. It will have robust registration, scoring, and reporting capabilities. If you’re an affiliate, you will have the opportunity to Opt-In each week. There will be a few criteria that you must abide by, but generally you will have a lot of freedom over how and when you host the competition.
Complete details are coming soon!
Congrats to all that competed…that second WOD was a killer. You all represented MCCF very well and should be proud of yourselves…GREAT JOB TO ALL!
So in order to compete you have to do all 6 WOD’s? I suppose more details/info are forthcoming. Will there be a team competition as well?
Oh! And give me 135# thrusters any day over 275# Deadlifts…
It was a great time!!! Congrats everyone!! My MCCF family is the best!!! Can’t wait to try it again!
