The kettlebell (or girya) has been touted as the most effective, efficient piece of strength training equipment available. Proponents of kettlebell training suggest that it increases strength, power, speed, co-ordination as well as core stability. Some even claim that it can replace several different forms of training and is superior to more traditional weight training.
Our classes will teach you the basics of the swing, front squat, row, lunges, figure 8s, dead lift, clean, shoulder press, snatch, Turkish get up and many more. Your WOD will also incorporate body weight movements and all the fundamentals of the Crossfit philosophy.
The group Kettlebell class is starting up on November 12 at 1030 am. We have three young ladies starting and have room for 6 more. Give us a call or an email if you are interested.
