Just a friendly reminder to all our members, because we tend to forget (and I didn’t even know they were there until today to be honest). Remember, handicap spots are for handicap parking.
I know… I know… you’re thinking “but those spots are in the middle of the parking lot, no closer to the building than any OTHER parking spot in the lot, not to mention the fact that there’s no handicap people who work or visit any of the nearby buildings, especially late at night, early mornings, or on the weekends…”
I know, BUT… the law’s the law. At 5:45 AM on a Friday, or 8:00 PM on a Sunday. And all those facts you were just thinking aren’t going to prevent you from getting in trouble if the local Five-O happen to stop by (and for some unknown reason feel like citing you for it despite thinking those same things you are), or if someone calls the cops on your Michigan-Vehicle-Code-offending butt.
So, unless you have one of them fancy-dancy handicap stickers or license plates, ya can’t park inbetween the blue lines.
— End Friendly Reminder

Cliff notes version. The handicap spots are hard to see. Don’t park there.
*ahem* STEMA *ahem*
I didn’t even know there were handicap spots. Thanks for the heads up.
