Everyone loved this workout, especially the 70 burpees after that whole mess.
Remember this one? The CrossFit Black Box concept, applied to eating. Watch what goes in, and see the results in our body. If we like what happens, repeat. We don’t really care *how* it works, just that it works.

I think i spend almost the last 10 minutes on the burpees.
This is the first WOD for me w/o the band for pull ups. 40 ugly looking kips (10 sets of 4). That is a victory!

It was in fact a pretty sweet sight to watch the “big dudes” knocking out pullups. By “big dudes” I mean the dudes that have arms twice the size of mine… maybe three times… can press 200+ lbs, and squat absurd amounts of weight. When they’re able to do bodyweight movements like yesterday, watch out.
And on another end of the spectrum, looking over at “Facebook Nick” doing KB swings and thinking “That 53# kettlebell looks bigger than normal…” Walking over there and seeing he’s done 42 swings with a 70# kettlebell…
Nice Job Nick and John!! Wish I’d have been there to do this one!! I tried to attempt a similar workout here in Virginia Beach, but the workout room is not so good….not even a weight and barely enough room to do burpees. Oh well, it was fun to try it!
21:38 – scaled the hspu with an abmat & a 10# plate, the rest was Rx. First time for me to do that many unassisted pullups in a wod. Nice job John! And Nick – checking the weight before the wod goes both ways. Nice work!
