Decided today that OHS’s are not my friend and added them to the long list of skills I need to work on. But, on a positive note…I’ll be in the gym a lot more regularly now to actually get better!
Also, awesome video Vinny!

Looking good Erin…
Forgive my curiosity, but what about a nineteenth century soldier and Medal of Honor recipient would so strike a girl’s fancy that she would have his words tattooed on her arm?

Well, Coop…. I got my B.A. in history and the tattoo’s a quote is from a speech Gen. Chamberlain gave when dedicating the battlefield of Gettysburg years after the Civil War ended. It is a recognition of the fact that the soldiers who fought and died would be remembered generations after their death, and that the places where they did should always be considered sacred. I focused in American war history and the quote always stuck with me and now it, well, always will “stick” with me since it’s tattooed on my arm. 🙂
OK, the history lesson’s over folks, back to your DU’s and OHS’s and KTE’s and HSPU’s, etc….

We need to adopt her as a CrossFitter! I mean, how much better would she have done had she not added a burpee at the 400m mark!

a war history chick…….very nice..
If you liked the story that earned Chamberlain the CMH defending Little Round Top, then fast forward some fifty years,…….switch continents…….and read the tale behind this quote….one of my favs.
Hard pressed on my right.
My center is yielding.
Impossible to maneuver.
Situation excellent.
I am attacking……
