Nice job everyone!!! Yvette I hope your leg is doing better. EVERY WOD yesterday involved climbing and jumping of some sort…….not great for a bum calve injury. You have some serious heart!!
Congrats Donna ………. damn f&($ing 4 seconds!! 🙂 You really showed who’s boss in the over 35 crowd!!
And to Hippy, who I believe got robbed…………she beat the girl who took 1st in 2 out of 4 events. ??? Weird scoring. Way to represent MCCF!!! Big time!
Great sled pic Vinny……….way to kick ass girls………
WOD 1 – 2:10:72 (If I didn’t go first I would’ve done the getups differently – not making an excuse, just sayin’). Okay. It’s an excuse.

Awesome pics Vinny and Joanna! MCCF had a great showing and way to hang in there Yvette with the injuries. Would have stopped way before you. Hippie- Wow you killed those WOD’s. Scoring a little weird cause nobody beat your ass on those sandbag get-ups. You looked awesome. Vinny, you always represent as the badass..well done. JD, you beat me in 3 of 4 WOD’s. Who’s butt was really kicked? Nice job

Great job to everyone who competed! See Ya Next Year!
I wanted to say a few things about the people from MCCF that went there to compete. It was not the type of WOD we encounter when we get to the box. There weren’t any creature comforts…nowhere to sit, get warm (it was f-ing cold!) or eat. These people were given an 8oz bottle of water to sip from throughout the competition once it started. It was cold, dusty and plainly just sucked. Each WOD was as different as it was distant from each other. The judging was a bit odd (I wont get into it but for those that were there know what im talkin about) and there was some equipment that we don’t use everyday at the box or used in the fashion with which they used it there. It was the unknown and unknowable and you know what I saw?…4 very eager people who were putting all the bullshit aside to not only compete for a monetary prize but to give it hell in the spirit of fitness! They were excited to put themselves out there and be measured next to some of the fittest people in our immediate area. That takes a lot of balls if you haven’t ever done it. It’s like a drag race…”Run what ya brung”!…at least I thought so. I just want to say that I was very impressed with your performances and the will to compete. A good leader will be out front where all his people can see where the hell theyre supposed to go…..that day, four of our leaders/trainers were living the example they preach at the box…..I for one know I’m at the right place with the right people.
Great Job Gals.. and Hippie we were neck & neck the whole time. You really need to reconsider Sectionals.. I love working out with ya all. Yvette awsome work especially with hurt leg.. It was a blast.
WOD1- 1:44:22
WOD2 – 3:48:09
WOD3-14:50 got nailed for dropping weights with the 3 burpee penalty
WOD4-1:06:72
Total-20:49:03
Thanks for the kind words Terry.
Great way to say it TBONE!!!! Chuck might think ur a little to soft after seeing that but I love ya for it. Thanks for coming out. Kristine great job out there!!! I had a blast and maybe when I am your age I will win too!!!!LOL (I’m 37) See ya next time!
Wow, what a great time this was!! Great competitors, great fans, and in the true spirit of Crossfit….a camraderie that is so far above that of any other competition I’ve done….I’m always amazed.
The guys represented MCCF like champions! JD got the shaft in judging on the first WOD and never complained…just kept killin’ it for the rest of the day…that’s what Crossfit is all about. Vinny…..well he was typical Vinny….fast, strong, and in striking distance of first place the whole day. And PFP…..wow!!….a rookie competing like a true veteran! He was right in it with the best of the best the whole way. Very impressive.
Sherry and Donna….both animals and true competitors. Donna was all speed and intensity and missed the win by only 4 seconds!! ugh!! Sherrie was a beast as usual…..the girl’s got a whole lot of toughness for such a little thing….she was a top finisher no matter what they threw at us. Awesome work girls.
Congrats Kristine!! You’re buying the beers the next time I see you. 🙂 It was fun competing with you. All around amazing performance! I’ll be cheering you on at Sectionals.
And can’t forget the spectators….Joanna, Terry, April, and our favorite little cheerleader; G……thanks so much for coming out. It know it was a long, cold day for you guys and I really appreciate your support. Hearing your cheers helped more than you know.
