Those who chose not to do “The Jake” utilized Benchmark Saturday to pick their WOD. We had Grace, Jackie, Fran, Karen, Diane, Cindy and a pair of CFT. Post your times or loads to comments:

Jake, its been a good run and I wish you all the best. You are a power house at MCCF and you will be missed. And those of you wondering Jake does not realy own any shirts and he shows up to the gym with only pants on.
Jake… I’m so sad to see you go! I just switched my insurance so I could start coming to you! 🙂 Dammit-Blammo!
You were such an asset to have at MCCF… an inspiration and a motivator! Whichever box gets to have you next is lucky! Just don’t forget your 1st crossfit family here in Motor City!
Keep up the intensity… you are a true firebreather! Good luck! I’ll miss ya!
I chose “Diane”… 21-15-9 Deadlifts (225/155) and HSPUs = 8:18
Now, I’ve got the whole “benchmark board” filled – the only two that are NOT RX’d is Linda and Nancy (I did Nautical Nancy instead during MI’s last winter)
I was going to do “Nancy” but it’s too darn cold to run outside. I’ll wait to get access to a treadmill.
Good Luck Jake in Chicago, you will be missed!
Greg and I both did the CFT…. I lost in the Shoulder Press but gained big the the BackSquat and that gave me an additional 25 on my CFT.
Now… Lemme just say that most of you have “seen” Greg and thats cause he doesnt toot his own horn or say too much but I gotta throw out the fact that he walked away with the top CFT today. He made just about half on his deadlift with 500.5 and cleaned up the rest with his backsquat and shoulder press. He had more in him with the backsquat and DL but as you know it’s a game to go big but still complete the rep for points….. Huge kudos to Greg for rockin that thing today.
Good luck Jake with your Chicago move. I wish you success and happiness. You’ll be a welcome member of any Crossft affiliate.
Jake- Good luck in Chicago and all that follows. You are truely an inspiration at MCCF and I’m sorry to see you go. I know you’ll do great in the windy city and at your next affiliate. God speed.
I chose Diane as I’d never done her before and now I know why. Way to much back rounding in the middle round which caused big issues in the end and my time wasn’t the best. Needless to say I’m none to pleased even though I gave it everything I had.
10:28 Rx’d
Good luck Jake! You’ll be missed!
Jake…..sad to see you go. Best of luck in Chi Town. Stay in touch. mcooper@metokote.com
I’m going to miss you guys more than you’ll know. This has been one of the best experiences of my life training at motor city. Whatever box I end up at I will be sure to represent MCC. Thank you for everything and I’ll be checking in here and stopping by when I’m in town.
For the record I did “The Jake” in 7:22 Rx’d and I’m humbled that I was allowed to make my own wod. I hope that it will be revisited at some point.
Good luck Jake in Chicago, you will be missed and are in inspiration to all. Hope all goes well with the move and all that follows after that.
I did Cindy today-since I never did it-and did 14 rounds plus 5 pull-ups (green band)
Hey Jake sorry to hear you will not be at MCCF any more good luck on your move hope it all works out for the browns keep I touch dude
Jake – I am really sad to see you go. It is always great to have you in the workouts. You always helped motivate the group and you clearly have some monster numbers. Good luck in Chicago. We will miss you.
