Tomorrow isn’t just Friday – It’s a reminder. A reminder of a day that changed our lives forever. Never again will we be able to get on an airplane without thinking about 9/11/01. Never again will anybody born on this day celebrate their birthday with the same joy and happiness as they did prior to the attacks. Tomorrow is the anniversary of a horrible tragedy. But that doesn’t mean we should ever forget. And if you are a member of Motor City CrossFit – you won’t.
If tomorrow is a scheduled rest day for you, who cares. Come in!
If you’re busy tomorrow, call me. We’ll work something out and If I need to I’ll be there at 11 pm.
If you are a 3x per week customer and you’ve already used all of your days…come in. It’s on me.
Sometimes a workout isn’t just another workout. Sometimes we don’t have a time limit and sometimes we work out when we don’t want to.
September 11th is a day that we should do something we don’t want to do. There are over 3 thousand people that lost their lives 8 years ago that would be happy to work out with a great group of people.
See you tomorrow!
Tomorrow we will be honoring SSG Joshua Hager, United States Army, who was killed Thursday February 22 2007 in Ar Ramadi, Iraq.
I am not a member of MCCF, but I will be remembering SFC Matthew Hilton. KIA Afghanistan 26JUN08. Served with him for 8 years including 13 months in Iraq. He was a great soldier, police officer, father, and husband.
