I recently saw a thread in the CF forum that piqued my interest. The first post in the thread had link to this article that was written by Mark Rippetoe, Barbell Trainer extraordinaire. In the article he talks about doing things we don’t want to do, or don’t think we can do, and then DOING them. One of the examples he uses is a 20 rep squat. Basically, pick a weight for a 10 rep max set of squats. Load up the bar and do 20! I didn’t think I could do it but I tried 225. To see my 20 rep squat video click here.
The weight will be different for most everybody. The key to this is doing something you didn’t think you would be able to do.
*Note – you may get an instant headache around rep 15.
Have fun!!
Good job JD that was pretty cool
Thanks!
